Job Summary: Outside Sales Manager is responsible for meeting revenue objectives generated from recruiting, hiring and managing a team of Outside Sales Representatives selling Aeneas telecommunications services to residential and business customers in West Tennessee.
Major Duties: Responsible for coaching, leading and training Sales Representatives (SRs) in accordance with Aeneas approved training materials. Address personnel issues/performance issues in accordance with Aeneas policy.
Responsible for fostering high individual and team morale.
Maintain expertise on Aeneas' products/services to effectively manage team sales of Aeneas products to residential and business customers.
Analyze and propose product offerings and promotional packages. Design, implement and manage overall territory team structure.
Provide standardized reporting on SR performance and offer feedback on effectiveness of existing sales plans. Responsible for measuring and reporting on monthly sales objectives. Coordinate efforts with other Aeneas teams and internal groups to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Monitor employee performance. Provide individualized and ongoing performance management to ensure efficiency and productivity of all team members. Ensure SRs are provided with all the materials and training necessary to succeed. Identify obstacles that SRs encounter in the field and work with Aeneas management to provide solutions.
Oversee SR performance by making sales calls with SRs when needed.
Ensure SR paperwork is submitted correctly on each order.
